My Pal Sleeping System has been designed by Physiotherapists to aid 24 hour postural management strategies. Suitable for Children who spend lengthy periods lying and are unable to, or, have difficulty in altering their position, and children who have acquired degenerating conditions such as MS or Parkinson's Disease, born with Cerebral Palsy or have sustained severe trauma such as brain injury. My Pal Sleeping System assists in avoidance of incorrect positioning and helps maintain the overall corrected position. Consists of one central wedge, eight adjustable supports for the legs and pelvic strap. Pelvic strap attaches to all of the components to help achieve the correct position. Lying position can be changed without removing any of the components. Can be used in a bed or on the floor for supine or side-lying to achieve better hip position. In some cases a choice to move from supine to side-lying can be made without assistance. Flame retardant foam. Covered in waterproof breathable soft fabric with micro-pores which allow air to flow creating a cooling micro-climate for maximum comfort.
