During floor sitting, some children are inclined to fall backwards or sideways if they overstretch or lose concentration. The seat provides support at the back and sides of the child to improve their sitting balance. A high quality table/seat designed for special needs, which can be used for a variety of purposes. When used as a seat, the rounded corners enable children with cerebral palsy to sit with one leg on each side, reducing muscle tension with abduction position. A forward leaning posture may also be encouraged when the table legs are adjusted independently, producing a sloping top. Used by a therapist, in conjunction with the child to promote exercise, contact and numerous other activities. It can also be used as a work table for floor sitting. It is designed with 3 corners and a reversible top (1 dark, 1 light) to provide a contrast with the floor, for children with visual impairments. All 3 legs are height adjustable.
